Jerome Rousseau Spring/Summer 2011

This is my first introduction to this designer. The shoe caught my eye, but it’s not usually something I’d go for. The combination of colors and materials used here is interesting, not many people would pair nude leather with silver glitter. I admit, this wouldn’t be a scheme I’d have thought would be cute at all… but for some reason these work for me. Every now and then I like to throw my wardrobe a curve-ball, so these would be great for one of those days I feel like frolicking in left-field. I’ll have to keep an eye out for Mr. Rousseau, he seems to have a quirky and eclectic vibe that I just may learn to love!

Emilio Pucci Leather T-bar Sandals

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a chance to blog, so I figured I better come correct. I think you will agree that these Emilio Pucci leather T-bar sandals will do the trick nicely. What’s not to love? I’m really into leather, (not in that way;) and the chocolate leather straps are just the fix I need. I am also in love with the chunky hardware on this shoe, feminine yet funky, just my style. And do you see that heel? Emilio Pucci always brings the sexiest, sultriest shoes to the scene, and these sandals are no different. I love how the leather straps wind up the ankle, and the overall equestrian vibe of these shoes is really appealing. These shoes are divine, right down to their soles. Drink in the gorgeousness…..

A peek at Balenciaga’s Pre-Fall 2011

Since Summer is fast approaching, I thought that a post featuring one of the season’s best galdiator sandals would be perfect. What I love about these Balcenciaga sandals in particular is the use, as always, of beautiful rich, touchable leather. Not only is the color of the leather amazing, the supple nature of it is apparent, even in these digital images. Imagine what it must look and feel like in “real-life”! A-ma-zing! The gold buckles add a nice touch, and while I’m no big fan of the loop around the big toe, I find that it works well toward the overall design. You can be comfy and chic in these gorgeous sandals…time to hit the beach!
